TrialsCentral - Online clinical trials information

Study Website

TrialsCentral logo

TrialsCentral is an online resource designed to improve access to clinical trials information, which provide the foundation for evidence-based healthcare. The TrialsCentral web site links to hundreds of online databases of ongoing clinical trials, primarily in the U.S. Because "positive" trial findings are more likely to be published than "negative" findings, the knowledge base about treatment effectiveness may be biased. No comprehensive centralized database of initiated clinical trials exists even though clinical trials databases, generally small and overlapping in content, are proliferating on the Internet. TrialsCentral improves access to clinical trials information by creating a centralized database of these information sources. Access to TrialsCentral is free, no registration is required, and no records are kept of visits to the site
