SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES
  • Clinical Trials Seminar Series
    A monthly seminar series designed to stimulate ideas and discussion on methodologic topics, ethical issues, and controversial trials.

  • Clinical Trials Journal Club
    A monthly session where students critically appraise recent publications related to clinical trials.

  • Department of Biostatistics Seminar Series
    Seminars covering a wide variety of topics with speakers from the Biostatistics faculty and outside experts.

  • Department of Epidemiology Seminar Series
    Twice weekly seminars in which guest speakers deal with epidemiological problems, and faculty and students present and discuss current research.

  • Continuing Education Courses
    Offered by departments within the School of Medicine. Many highlight findings from clinical trials and their implementation in medical practice.

  • Research in Progress
    Monthly meetings for students (and occasionally faculty) to talk about their "research in progress," to review progress, and to provide input.
